AT HOME

We came home on Saturday and have been settling in nicely. Liam is sleeping a lot and Mommy and Daddy like to watch him because he continues to be so adorable. He and Mommy seem to have the breastfeeding thing down, which has brought on a whole new type of diaper change for Daddy. The last couple of days we've been able to have mid-afternoon family nap-time, which is pretty much a must for Mommy and Daddy right now. We've all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Liam's first doctor's appointment was today, and he is in perfect health. He is in the 90% in weight and height, and the doctor made special note that he has extremely low yellowing in his skin (which is good it turns out). He did very well on his first outing, sleeping in the car all the way there and back (an hour round trip).

Mommy Tricia is doing very well in her recovery. Her energy is very good, and she's loving spending so much time bonding with Liam. She's especially enjoyed reading some Shel Silverstien after feedings.

Daddy Michael soaks up as much bonding time as he can. Tonight he treated Liam to an oil massage as they watched some X-Files episodes.  

Aunt Marie has been here introducing amazing little tricks in helping Liam transition into successful breastfeeding. She's like the baby whisperer, and we've appreciated her help so much. Thanks Sis!
