Ketchup

There was an April lull at the blog while we spent much of our free time outside of the Yellow House.
We planted over 100 trees/twigs (thanks Effie, Luke, and Mom), finished cooping the chickens (thanks Meljac), finished chickening the coop (thanks Marie), and planted the garden (no thanks to Tricia [she is excused as her belly is too big for bending, and she did offer moral support while napping nearby on the trampoline]).

 In other news, our poor dog Jade had to be returned to a shelter. She was a wonderful dog, but she was very aggressive toward arriving visitors. She actually made a bite attempt at Michael's brother Curtis, which just made it impossible for us to keep her. It was, and still is, sad. We may re-dog with a puppy at a later time, but for now we're focusing on Ninja's arrival.
