Well, the geese are headed north, but the north is staying south. After a few warmer days my trusty meteorologist is telling of chances of some wintry precip at the end of the week into the weekend. The last snow in KC dropped 10" just north of us, while we had less than an inch of snow and a quarter to a half inch of ice (see pic). They're saying it is the 3rd coldest and snowiest winter in KCs recorded history, but we're southeast of the city and missed a lot of the accumulation-- which has left me cold and jealous. Of course, the KC record snow, 35.5" total, is nothing compared to the folks out east. They may have had too much snow even for me.
